ASBP Selects DB&A Framework for Implementation

The Armed Services Blood Program selects the DB&A Donor Relationship Management Success Framework for implementation.  The framework was developed under a Phase I SBIR and will enable the ASBP to move forward holistically with the implementation of eDonor®, a premier donor relationship management system, as well as build out the skills and competencies in the ASBP necessary to foster and grow long term relationships with blood donors.

DB&A Responds to Human Tissue Regulatory Changes

DB&A forms partnership with Biomedical Synergies, Inc., BSI, to respond to new regulations in human tissue  tracking and management.  BSI provides tissue banking and regulatory compliance expertise and recently developed a software that automates tissue management processes for health care organizations.  DB&A brings process re engineering, systems development, and organizational change expertise to the partnership. 

DB&A Offers RFID Solutions at AABB in Settle, Washington

DB&A, in partnership with Digi-Trax Corporation, presented Radio Frequency Identification, RFID, solutions at the annual American Association of Blood Banks, AABB, conference, held this year in Seattle Washington.  RFID holds promise in the identification, tracking, certification, and management of blood inventory items, as well as increasing patient safety in transfusion medicine.

DB&A Awarded IT Investment Management Contract With Department of Interior

DB&A was awarded a contract to develop and deliver a management training program related to OMB 300 submissions, and IT Investment Management. The programs are to be delivered to the Office of Surface Mining, OSM.

DB&A Awarded SBIR Grant for Bloodborne Pathogen Surveillance

DB&A is awarded a Phase I SBIR design contract by the Office of the Secretary of Defense to design an innovative data surveillance system to monitor fluctuations in bloodborne pathogen and donor deferral rates in the DoD.  The design project will run from January through August of 2005.

DB&A Awarded SBIR Grant for Blood Reserve Availability Surveillance

DB&A today was awarded a Phase I SBIR design contract by the Office of the Secretary of Defense to design an innovative system to enhance blood availability surveillance in the DoD.  The design project will run from January through August of 2005.

DB&A Awarded Contract to Support Department of Homeland Security

DB&A was awarded a services contract to provide senior level services in the development and coordination of an electric power market segment Infrastructure Protection Planning and Coordinating Committee.  The group will include power generation, transmission, and distribution organizations and various homeland defense agencies all working together to plan for and carry out the protection of the nation's electric power infrastructure.
